Due to COVID-19 guidance, when personal distancing of 6 ft. or greater cannot be maintained, face masks must be worn.

Access to the flying field requires unlocking a numeric padlock on the access gate. The unlock code will be provided only to military (Active & Retired), DOD, & authorized CAC card holders on the authorization list provided to PMO by the Membership chairman. Although the requirement to physically go to PMO has been rescinded, it is a REQUIREMENT to call PMO from the field phone upon arrival, and when all flyers and the last Military/DOD/CAC member has departed. Guest Flyers wishing to fly on a particular day need to ensure that an authorized member is going to meet them to unlock the gate when they arrive.

Most weekends the access gate to the field is opened by an authorized Member at 8:00 am. If you would like to fly at our field, please email the Club at flyers@miramarrcflyers.com to coordinate your arrival. Proof of AMA membership, a properly marked FAA UAS, and payment of a modest Field Use Fee are required. DRONES AND AIRCRAFT WITH CAMERAS, INCLUDING FPV, ARE NOT ALLOWED. There is a phone (858-775-4816) at the field that is answered any time members are present at the field.

IMPORTANT: Due to contractor activity within the bounds of the fence enclosing our field, it is important that military members ensure that our combination lock is “daisy-chained” with the contractors’ lock. We want to avoid interfering with the contractors’ access to the area.
