Miramar R/C Flyers is a military-based R/C Flying club located on Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar.  For this reason membership is restricted to Active Duty/Retired Military, DOD Civilians and their dependents who maintain a valid Military Identification card and have NORMAL base access.

Military Membership is free to ranks E-5 and below.

E-6 and above is $60 per year.

NOTE: There is a one time Runway Improvement Fee of $100 for new members due when initially joining the club.  More information is available on the Military Application Form.

***CIVILIAN MEMBERSHIP***

Civilian membership into the club is available with the stipulation that we must maintain a strict 2 to 1 ratio of Military members to Civilian members. The civilian membership demand is such that we have an active waiting list.  Those civilians looking to join the club and get onto the waiting list can only do so by picking up a civilian membership proposal form from the Membership Chairman or Vice President at the club's regularly scheduled monthly meetings. Meetings are currently held on the second Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Hall on 7815 Armour Street in Kearny Mesa. Meetings start promptly at 7pm.
